Rey Mysterio is still negotiating his contract with WWE. He feels that he is underpaid compared to the other top wrestlers in the company. He's seeking more than what WWE wants to pay him and both sides are having issues finding a middle ground on his salary. The feeling from WWE officials is that Mysterio is injury prone, which has decreased his value. There could be some hard feelings from Mysterio when he was promised he would be part of WrestleMania if he worked through the torn biceps injury earlier this year. Mysterio has told friends that he's open to the idea of returning to Mexico's AAA promotion if he cannot come to terms with WWE.
